What Text-to-Video Does

MiniMax H3 turns a written scene direction into a finished video. A useful prompt describes what appears in the frame, how it moves, how the camera behaves, the lighting, the pacing, and the intended sound. This site currently supports 5, 10, and 15-second generations at six aspect ratios.

A Reliable Prompt Structure

Write prompts in this order:

1. Subject: who or what the viewer should notice first.
2. Action: one clear movement that can develop during the clip.
3. Environment: location, time of day, weather, and important background details.
4. Camera: framing, lens feeling, and camera movement.
5. Light and color: the visual mood and palette.
6. Sound: ambience, effects, dialogue, or music direction.

Example: A red fox crosses a snow-covered railway at blue hour, low tracking shot, soft falling snow, cool cyan shadows, distant wind and quiet footsteps.

Choosing Duration

• 5 seconds: one action, product detail, reaction, or visual test.
• 10 seconds: a short camera move or a simple beginning-to-end action.
• 15 seconds: a scene with two connected beats, such as approach and reveal.

Longer clips are not automatically better. A focused five-second prompt often produces a more coherent result than a crowded fifteen-second prompt.

Before You Generate

Choose an aspect ratio for the final destination, not just the preview. Use 16:9 for landscape video, 9:16 for short-form vertical platforms, 1:1 for square placements, and 21:9 for a cinematic widescreen composition. Review the displayed credit cost before submitting.

Privacy and Failed Tasks

Generations are attached to your signed-in workspace and are not automatically published. If a provider task fails or is rejected, the reserved credits are restored automatically. Completed and failed tasks remain available in Generation History.
